Ribbing is a double knit patterm (knit and purl) which yields distinct vertical lines. Typically, the purl stitch tends to recede, and the knit stitch comes forward. Bareknits™ Ribknit is further held together with Lycra to create stretch and recovery. Bareknits™ Cotton and Poly/cotton lycra ribknit is a 1 x 1 rib with a great recovery. It is dyed to match their interlock collection. The cotton/lycra ribknit is 96% cotton / 4% Lycra. The poly/cotton/lycra ribknit is 48% cotton / 48% poly / 4% Lycra. Both weigh 13.5 oz per linear yard and are approx. 67cm (27") tubular - 134 cm (54") flat
